DIGITAL-2023-SKILLS-05: Calls to train digital specialists in Europe

The European Commission has opened DIGITAL-2023-SKILLS-05, three calls for proposals under the Digital Europe program for advanced digital skills training. These calls, which are part of the European Digital Strategy, aim to contribute to the goal of training 20 million ICT specialists in the European economy by 2030.

Proposals for projects under these calls can be submitted from 21 November 2023 to 21 March 2024.


The three calls are as follows:

DIGITAL-2023-SKILLS-05-SPECIAL-PROGEDU

Objective

To support the development and delivery of specialized education programs in artificial intelligence (AI), data science, augmented reality/virtual reality (AR/VR).

Target groups

Consortiums of higher education institutions, vocational training institutions, research organizations, and companies from across Europe.

Requirements

Projects must focus on providing advanced AI, data science, AR/VR education programs and promoting the interoperability of ICT systems in higher education.

Expected impact

To train qualified AI, data science, AR/VR professionals needed to drive the digital transformation of the European economy.


DIGITAL-2023-SKILLS-05-SPECIALEDU

Objective:

To support the development and delivery of specialized education programs in key digital technologies, such as artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, and augmented reality/virtual reality.

Target groups:

Consortiums of organizations from across Europe.

Requirements:

Projects must focus on providing advanced education programs in key digital technologies and promoting the interoperability of ICT systems in higher education.

Expected impact:

To train qualified professionals needed to drive the digital transformation of the European economy.


DIGITAL-2023-SKILLS-05-CYBERACADEMY

Objective:

To support the development and delivery of specialized education programs in cybersecurity.

Target groups:

Consortiums of higher education institutions, vocational training institutions, research organizations, and companies from across Europe.

Requirements:

Projects must focus on providing advanced cybersecurity education programs and promoting the interoperability of ICT systems in higher education.

Expected impact:

To train qualified cybersecurity professionals needed to drive the digital transformation of the European economy.
