What is Cascade Funding?
It is a funding mechanism promoted by the European Commission for the distribution of smaller public funds. Thanks to this type of funding, different types of organizations, mainly SMEs and Start Ups, can obtain grants to incorporate and promote new technologies.
Cascad Funding reaches all types of sectors, however, the most strategic ones are:
- Digital areas
- Industry 4.0, data
- Embedded systems

How does Cascade Funding works?
The European Union allows some projects that have already been funded to publish their own calls for proposals. This simplifies the administrative processes, distributing these smaller funds in a more agile and simple way.
Therefore, organizations can benefit from the advantages of this type of funding such as:
- Possibility of obtaining funds between €50,000 and €200,000.
- To collaborate with large companies.
- No bank guarantee is required to participate.
- Shorter evaluation times.
- Faster administrative management.
- Simpler financial reporting.
- Higher success rate.
