A really turbulent year in the funding of European projects is coming to an end. LIFE, Horizon 2020, Interreg, CEF Transport, Innovation Fund… These are some of the most important programmes that have provided thousands and thousands of euros for different projects and areas. We have gathered in this article the projects with more funding from the main EU programmes, and the main areas in which they are developed.
H2020 projects
Although the programme has been closed for the year 2021, 5,208 projects are still being implemented under this funding programme. These are the most funded by each area:
The INTERREG EUROPE interregional cooperation programme integrates all Member States, Norway and Switzerland under the European Territorial Cooperation objective jointly financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). This year, 124 projects have been carried out, of which these are the most funded.
The European Neighbourhood Instrument (ENI), which targets ENP partner countries and aims to strengthen governance, economic and social development, support cross-border and interregional cooperation and economic integration in EU countries. These are the three main projects funded under this programme:
